People with talent are permitted to go to open markets to buy more trinkets to wear and have them taken by others.
Others do the three day run.
Once completed, are allowed to look, observe and then claim trinkets from the talented.
The talented must play an instrument and perform in the middle of the oval encouraging others to complete the three day run.
If, at any time the talent wishes to stop playing an instrument, they must stand, leaving instrument on the grass, then silently walk away but acknowledge the replacing talent.
If you are talent, you are considered to be able to play an instrument.
Greta and Meens meet when, after completing his 22nd three day run, he tells her that he has completed his three day run and that he likes her trinkets.
She allows him to enter her space.
She has a necklace.
He acknowledges but her broches catches the eye. One in particular. Ruby's, emeralds and diamonds.
Meens: 'This affords me to watch you play.'
She tries desperately to not roll her eyes and they both know what she has to say.
Greta: 'You are able to run now for two days.' She forces a smile.
He can't help but look.
Her smile is beautiful.
All three day runs are carefully selected ovals in the districts and roped off in accordance to run lengths.
The local orchestra plays endlessly until the three day run is complete.
Some others are exhausted while others have the three laps completed quickly.
Most ovals are former sporting or racing facilities which are all abandoned.
No maintenance to be seen.
