ROW OF SEATS. EARLY MORNING
Jacqui is doing the paperwork in one of the rows while staff are on the stage getting everything ready for rehearsals and her pocket vibrates.It's her husband saying their second daughter isn't feeling well and has come home from school.
JACQUI
'Are you OK with that?'
Listening.
'You sure, I'll come home if you need to get that project completed?'
A lot of banging starts up on the stage and so she takes her paperwork, tablet and walks out from the row and wanders through the corridors to her office and sits.

'You sure. Ok then, love you and see you tonight bye.'
She takes a deep breathe, has a moments pause then starts back on the paperwork.
FOOTPATH. AFTERNOON
Kristie; the oldest sister is out the front setting up the "A" frame and getting the mat rolled out and sees the window displays getting a once-over.She casts her eye out and around and smiles recognising people as they pass.
It is a beautiful afternoon.
She takes a deep breathe.

Jacqui is calculating when she hears a sound. She questions herself but also happy to have a distraction and finds, reaches for her coffee mug.JACQUI
'That you?'
Looks puzzled.
'John, you?'
In one of the office corridors, she tries ringing him but he doesn't answer.

She yells and reacts to her voice; the only one around and sighs knowing what this means; with her head back, starts walking.
